Fruit2Work is more than just a fruit and milk delivery service. It’s a social enterprise with a mission to create employment opportunities for people impacted by the justice system. People with lived experience of the justice system – we call them ‘returned citizens’ – face significant barriers to employment and places them at risk of recidivism.
At Fruit2Work our team members learn valuable skills such as customer service, time management, and teamwork, setting them up for success in the long term. Your donation helps us provide training, mentorship, and meaningful employment to help break down barriers and create pathways to a brighter future.
What sets Fruit2Work apart is its holistic approach to empowerment. It’s not just about providing a job; it’s about equipping people with the skills and confidence they need to thrive in the workforce and beyond. Our wrap around services, Transition2Change, delivers comprehensive support, from initial contact through to job transition, on-the-job training, mental health support, coaching and participation each week in the ‘Build a Better You’ program.
