Without access to these essential services, individuals are more likely to re-offend. Fruit2Work has actively reduced recidivism with our employment program in Melbourne and Brisbane.
What is Recidivism?
Recidivism refers to the tendency of previously incarcerated individuals to reoffend after being released. Many factors influence the likelihood of reoffending, including socioeconomic status, mental health issues, substance abuse, and access to employment. Sadly, nearly 50% of individuals released from prison will return within two years.
